Rosemerry, the tool that helped me the most on learning how to say no was a pretty significant study on my enneagram type. Once I realized my personality pattern and what drove certain actions, it made it easier to apply a resolution to simply say no.
Thank you Rosemerry & Christie for your shared reflections on 2025. I especially appreciated the idea of radical acceptance around sitting with discomfort and not having to rush to fix it. This is an ongoing learning process for me. Thank you both for your 2026 words: explore & wonder. Excellent words! I had chosen collaboration, connection and community. But I'd like to upgrade to wonder as well because it feels so much more expansive! In beginning my yearly reflection, I was happy to notice more good things that had slipped aside, thank you Christie for recency bias (I think I've got that partially correct 😄). I met several intentions in paid performance/doing what brings me joy + collaborative work in community! Yay! 2026 brings wonder in what else will replace the lost World Bank consultancy (can't complain because a 30 day Short Term contract in 2015 turned into over a decade of consulting!) Looking forward in wonder! Grateful!

thanks, Alida ... I've been thinking more about the enneagram these days, thanks for the thought!!
Christie, you and the community did create a wonderful Grand Mesa writer symposium this year! I look forward to next year.
